This is a group camping and expo event to gather and talk about Bigfoot/Sasquatch.
There will be presentations to attend with information about Bigfoot as well as a presentation on wild edible mushrooms, movie to watch as a group in the evening, campfire chats, daytime and night time expeditions into the forest to look for sign and mushrooms. There will be vendors and vendor spaces available send PM for details.
We would like to announce the following pricing for the camping event this coming September 7,8,9 – 2018. ( Friday, Saturday, Sunday)
Here are some details to help you decide if this event is something you would like to attend. It is a bit long but informative:
Camping fees (Tent camping)- these will be paid directly to the campground and they charge $ 7.50 per day per person. When you contact us to sign up for the event we will provide the information to call and pay for the camping portion separately. There are a limited number of cabins as well but they are at a different price per night – you will need to verify all prices at the time of reservations. Again – all camping fees are paid directly to the camp owners. It will be up to you to bring everything needed to camp, cook, food, ect for the weekend.
Event fee: $30 dollars per person. This does not cover food or beverages. This will be for the entire weekend Friday evening through Sunday Morning events only. There will be presentations covering aspects of both Bigfoot and edible mushroom identification, We will also hopefully have a movie either Friday or Saturday evening centered around Bigfoot. We reserve the right to alter/modify any and all portions of the weekend event for any reason at all. At no time will anyone be obligated to participate in any portion of the weekend.
We will be adding details and more info as the organizing of this first annual event takes shape – please check back often.
We are working on teeshirts for the event – please stay tuned for details and pricing.
The movie(s) will be scary to some viewers and will most likely not be suitable for young children.
Children and this weekend event – this event will have technical type presentations for those who are interested in learning about Bigfoot and edible mushrooms and is geared towards adult interest. Some events may involve walking or hiking in woods and at distances, and with obstacles that may not be appropriate for small hikers.
At the campground – there is forest and woods all around and wandering unwatched children could easily become lost – parents must watch their children at all times.
We will be offering discounted rates for children under 8 years of age (half price). All children will need to have a adult with them at all times.
GPS / cell phones / reception – this area has very poor if any mobile /carrier signal and the dependance on cell phones for navigation and to call incase of emergency will most likely not work and should not be used or depended on. The ability to use maps to drive to the campground as well as maps and a compass prior to hiking in the woods.
Wild animals – you will be in the great outdoors – that is where animals live – bears, skunks, snakes, turtles, raccoons, and more are all out there and not under anyones direct control and can be encountered at any time. Your food, small children, ect should be watched and protected at all times.
Thanks for reading all the way down – stay tuned and check back for additional details for the event as they become available. If you are interested but not ready to commit please leave a comment with “Interested” and we will follow up as the event gets closer.
Thank you!
