On Saturday night, our current B&G Campout members will be bringing their favorite pot luck dishes to join us for a meet and greet gathering!

Permit: In Greenwater, WA. some of the forest that we will access, belongs to the Muckleshoot Tribe and is managed by Hancock Forest Management. Therefore, each hiker must have a Hancock Forest Pass. Daily passes are available. In March 2018, passes can be purchased online at hancockrecreationnw.com. Click on the White River button and follow the short application process. Print the permit and have it with your ID. You must have both documents on your person while hiking the forests around Greenwater.

B&G Campout Rules

•No dogs, other than our mascot, Gabby or registered service dogs are allowed. Multiple dogs creates a pack mentality and is a Bigfoot repellent. If one person brings their dog it is not fair to the rest who don’t.
•Intoxicants- Although we don’t mind light social drinking, we ask that you imbibe responsibly. Intoxicated campers are a hazard to themselves and others and can create issues with the credibility of our group.
•Please, do not publicly share the exact locations of our Campouts, particularly before or during the the Campout.
•No Generators- very limited day use for charging purposes is acceptable, but NEVER at night.
•Please don’t feed Gabby. She won’t be happy about that, but she’s getting old and needs to watch her figure. ?
•Please be considerate when setting up your tent. Some campers prefer to be close to others, some prefer to be more secluded.
•No experience or information gathered during the camp out is to be made public until after the last camper has officially left the campsite. At which time any camp out member can request a 3 day hold on any information to be released.
• Most camp activities are done as a group or small groups. Physical abilities are to be respectfully taken into consideration.
• Respectful research, gifting, photos. Allow the individual who left gifts to check on their own gifts and report findings IF they choose to share results.
• No pranks or jokes.
• No unannounced whoops, calls, whistles, knocks, etc. are to be made. These can be nerve shattering to other members of the group. When divided into smaller groups, walkie-talkies will be used to communicate calls and responses.
• Silent or cotton clothing is preferred for night walks. Nylon friction is noisy.
• During night walks, all head lamps must be aimed at the ground, preferably turned off when stationery. Red lamps are less intrusive. White light must NEVER be directed at the forest or the Forest People. Also, please be mindful of shining your light into the eyes of your fellow campers.
• No altering of the forest environment (ie, pushing over trees, making structures, etc) except for making personal glyphs. Even then the glyphs must be documented and reported to the leader at the time they are made.
• When sightings or vocalizations take place, we maintain an ‘observation only’ stance. Do NOT try to approach, chase or follow the Forest People.
• Remember to respect the forest, its creatures and each other.
•You are expected to read and follow all rules. PLEASE, do not put me in a position where I have to get out my big stick. That really, really… really sucks.

Reservation Availability IS Limited. For reservation & date consideration, please contact Barb Shupe – squatchcamp08@gmail.com Once your reservation is confirmed, camp details and payment information will be e-mailed to you.
Disclaimer: There is no affiliation with any of the Bigfoot organizations. Each individual person accepts all risk in wilderness camping and must adhere to safety first protocol.
