Sasquatch, Skunk Ape, Wild Man of the Forest…these are just some of the many monikers of the elusive cryptid Bigfoot, a creature of which Coshocton County has a significant number of sightings. If you’ve ever been curious about the validity of this mysterious beast, or just want to know what all the fuss is about, JHM would like to invite you for a day of all things Bigfoot, including an exclusive viewing of a brand-new documentary On the Trail of…Bigfoot.
On the Trail of…Bigfoot was produced, written, filmed and directed by Ohio Indie-filmmaker Seth Breedlove and his production company Small Town Monsters. On the Trail of… Bigfoot is an epic miniseries chronicling sightings of the creature throughout North America. Interviews with eyewitnesses and investigators alike provide new evidence and the most in-depth retelling of the history of the phenomenon ever attempted. In addition to the film, attendees can expect to enjoy a lunch break where you are free to talk with other Bigfoot lovers and experts and buy cool merch from vendors. After the film, there will be a Q & A with filmmaker, Seth Breedlove, and the film crew! Don’t miss this awesome opportunity!
***Leading up to the film, from June 25-July 22, we will have a photo contest! Be on the look out around Clary Gardens (6/25-6/30) and Roscoe Village (7/1-7/22) for Bigfoot. When you find him, take a photo, use the #JHMBigfoot tag, and mention us @jhmuseum31 on Facebook and Instagram to enter yourself in the contest. We will draw a name each week on Monday and the winner will get 2 free tickets to the show (including lunch) and a 10% off coupon to the gift shop! ***
Cost for the event is $10 and includes lunch, $8 for Friends of the Museum and includes lunch, and $5 for the film only. Please RSVP by July 24 by emailing us at jhmusueum@jhmuseum.org or by calling us at 740-622-8710.
