Born and raised in Kirkland Washington, Lori Simmons is a Bigfoot Researcher and Author of two books: “Tracking Bigfoot” and “Tracking Bigfoot: The Journey Continues”. Her research carries on the 28 year work her father, Donald Wallace, chronicled until his passing. A trapper and hunter, Donald lived in the Cascade Mountains and off the land for over thirty years. As a young girl, Lori spent her summers with him, fishing, hiking and tracking. Donald would tell his children about his tracking and interactions with Bigfoot but they didn’t realize the extent of importance.
In an effort to understand the recordings and logs her father left, Lori and her brother Mike ventured to one of the areas her father described as “dangerous” in the summer of 2010. They heard fear-provoking drumming, thumping and low guttural growls from a nearby tree. It was then that she realized the significance of her dad’s warning. Since then, Lori continues the pursuit for scientific understanding and acknowledgment. She has brought leading wildlife biologists and academics to her research area. Today she continues to interact and track Bigfoot in the same and other areas of the Great Cascade Mountains through her organization Lori Simmons Research.
