The SBA Bigfoot Youth Event is coming soon to a deep, dark forest near you! Next month in fact! June 15th thru the 17th, 2018 located in SE Oklahoma!

This year’s event is being held at River Bank Cabins, a few miles east of Broken Bow, Oklahoma. The campground is right on the Lower Mountain Fork River. Bring canoes and kayaks if you have them. For larger vessels, there is a boat ramp on the property not far from the campsite.

This is a “primitive” camping facility. The location is used by the Boy Scouts and other similar groups. It is picturesque with lots of shade. You can pitch your tent along the river’s edge or move a little inland. The grass will be mowed and tree branches trimmed before we get there. SBA will provide a couple of clean, construction style toilets and will have a kitchen trailer on site also.

Tent camping is $10 per tent and $25 for RV’s. There are NO hookups. It’s primitive camping all the way!!

There are four cabins available for rent. These are around $150 to $175 per night. They are nice. They are not part of the SBA package and you must contact the campground agent Pam Jackson, 580.236.0362 to RESERVE one of those.

RV and tent reservations can be made on this post or by contacting any of the SBA Admins.

The object of the event is to provide a family friendly Bigfoot camping experience that will give the kiddos a feel for the real deal! Activities such as track casing, reading sign, finding and interpreting tree and stick structures will be covered. The itinerary will be posted soon.

Please plan to join us for 3 days of camping fun in the woods of Southeast Oklahoma. Who knows, the big guy just might make an appearance!
